Carniroll: When Western Mass Took Center Stage

Carniroll: When Western Mass Took Center Stage

Western Mass isn’t usually the place you think of when it comes to big-name acts. But beneath the quiet streets and small towns is a community overflowing with raw talent—artists just waiting for their shot to shine.

For me, that shot came with a call that changed everything: an invitation to be part of a brand new festival called Carniroll. Set in the heart of Northampton, Massachusetts, this three-day festival promised something special—pairing local artists with national heavyweights like Wiz Khalifa, Waka Flocka, and GRiZ.

Coming from Virginia, it was surreal to be considered part of a lineup that blurred the line between hometown dreams and national spotlight. I knew if I was stepping onto that stage, I had to make it count—not just for myself, but for every creative from Western Mass pushing for their moment.

With the help of my brother in music, Austin Fair, we built 2 unique live sets—something that blended energy, emotion, and that signature Ananas sound. It was more than a performance; it was a statement. Blending genres of Hip-Hop, Bounce and House music each set was an experience in which I encourage you listen below.

Listen to the full set below and experience what Carniroll felt like from behind the decks.
